La musique nous donne accès au coeur du monde. Quand j'écoute Mozart, Schubert ou Wagner, je sens monter en moi un irrésistible sentiment d'exaltation et de reconnaissance pour l'univers qui a engendré la vie et la musique. – Hubert Reeves

Too much control would nullify free will.

And this is one of the reasons making me wonder why our religious cousins still call Him the "merciful" and "compassionate".

Harry,
When you look again at my earlier picture of the falling angel, it should become clear to you that having got rid of that hot potato God is now free to sit undisturbed in the heavens again merciful and compassionate, while it is up to us to deal with Lucifer in our midst.

Have you already made the pilgrimage to Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe? | Not necessary, with dozens of devotional object shops around the corner..

we are made in God's image |
I`m not. I`m not a coward, so I see no fun in inflicting pain. I try to be rational, so I see no point in punishing the innocent along with (or instead of) the guilty. I have some self-respect, so I don`t need everybody to worship me.
Come to think of it, it`s show stars and mafia godfathers and such that seem to be made in God`s image. That`s a shrink`s point of view, of course, so you needn`t believe it.

maybe Heraclitus was right

He was. Only it`s much broader than just Religious Divide.

Maybe the world is still in the process of creation.

Scary! It would fit the old saying of "make it, paint it red, ... on it and burn it!"
