Thanks for your request Igor,
PROMT is an Machine Translation software/system product which has an internal Translation memory module called Associated Memory.
which specific version and product model are you using (for example, PROMT v7 Expert)
I just happen to have answered a question a few hours ago about the 3 different types of dictionaries (general/standard internal dictionary vs. topical/specialized dictionary vs custom user dictionaries) used by PROMT and other MT software in another post a couple of hours ago: http://www.proz.com/post/1267961#1267961
If I understand correctly, you are seeking the 2nd type (topical/specialized dictionary) for EN-RU-EN directions and in the subject matter areas of the physics and math.
And the simple answer is that you need to see with PROMT for that. Such industry-sector specific dictionaries for specific languages are driven by market need. 2 areas you are mentioned are in the Dictionary collection (English) at the PROMT site:
http://shop.promt.com/DRHM/servlet/ControllerServlet?Action=DisplayProductDetailsPage&SiteID=promt&Locale=en_US&Env=BASE&productID=99492700
You should double-check the version compatability. If you have a very old version of the software (like before v6) then it would cause compabability problems with newer dictionaries that have been created.
And if you have the Professional or Expert versions of the software, then you can use the dictionary module to create your own, as mentioned in that post.
