I did not take the course: I have known somebody who took the medical interpreting course, and she said it was good, but quite expensive, about $6,000 for half  a year. 

The New York Court exam is very fair, so  I am sure if you prepare to it well, you can pass it, if you are totally bilingual or close to it. I did not take the Spanish exam. Spanish is much different than any other language. I think you have to take the Spanish written exam as well. They only administer this exam every four years in New York.

Thanks. I am taking the 2010 FCICE and I wanted to see if the NYU court course would help to get prepared for that one.
