We have an audio file of a police interview. On the tape you will find the conversation between the police officers, the defendant and the interpreter that they used during the interview.
The defendant speaks very little English but is fluent in one of the dialects of Kosovan. The defendant claims he could not understand the instructions because the translator did not speak the correct dialect.
Your job will be to:
- provide a full transcript of the audio as it is currently
- a report detailing the differences between the different dialects (if any) of the language spoken in Kosovo and which dialect the person of the audio file speaks and which dialect the intepreter speaks.
We will pay $30/hour for the transcription and another $20 for a short raport on the Kosovan languages and the languages on the tape.
