· Worked for al-Noor Hospital as a part-time translator from English into Arabic and vice versa. The translation includes medical reports, handbooks, contracts, etc.
· Translated over 300 security courses, contracts, CVs, reports, handbooks, certificates, application forms, questionnaires, etc. for CanproGlobal, Certis Cisco and NSI.

· Translated some articles about the activities that took place in Japanese Cultural Fair from Arabic into Japanese. The articles were published in Albal, a weekly magazine sponsored by JICA.

· Translated a financial statement from Japanese into English.

· Followed a Japanese teacher training course in the training center in the Higher Language Institute (formerly the High Foreign Languages Center) in Damascus University.
· Taught Japanese to first-level students in the Higher Language Institute in Damascus University.
· Took part in and ran the kanji (Chinese characters) booth in the Japanese Culture Fair which took place in Damascus University in 5/5/2006.
· Assisted Japanese language students perform an extract from the Japanese version of “Le petit prince” (the little prince) in the Japanese Speech Contest.
· Suggested typing each lesson’s vocabulary in Japanese, Arabic and English and handing it out to students in order to make it easier to run the whole lesson in Japanese.

· Made an Arabic grammar book for JICA volunteers explaining Arabic grammar in Japanese.
· Created over 40 lessons in Syrian colloquial Arabic and standard Arabic intended for all levels of students.
· Translated some short stories from English, Spanish and Japanese into Arabic, just to give the students an idea how some expressions in their languages can be put in good Arabic.
· Gave private lessons in Arabic to English-speaking people, Spanish-speaking people and Japanese people.
· Taught both standard Arabic and Syrian colloquial Arabic using very recent articles, songs, Syrian soap operas, etc. as teaching materials.
· Adopted a unique way of teaching Arabic and simplifying it to foreign students by creating conversations that reflect Arabic as it is spoken today.
