Jane Pepperell

I have been translating French to English and vice versa since 1985, apart from a four-year lull, during which I took my PGCE qualification (1 year course) and then taught French in secondary school for 3 years.

I have now returned to full-time translating and language work, which includes writing promotional articles and editing weak translations to make them readable. I acquired Trados 2007 Freelancer in January 2007 and always use it for translating work. Full personal details and list of translations are in my CV.

I am very flexible with subject matter as, apart from the specializations listed in my profile, I have a wide general knowledge due to close family members specializing in areas such as information technology, biochemistry, sports sciences, psychology and performing arts.
