Dear,
I'am a professional freelance translator and proofreader/editor with a strong focus on details. My main areas of expertise are marketing, website/corporate content, journalism (e.g. press releases, reports, brochures), general business, advertising, general/corporate law (e.g. terms and conditions, company policies & procedures) and sports. With me you will receive excellent quality at fair rates. Besides proper research for each project I use CAT tools (Trados Studio 2009, Wordfast Professional or SDLX Lite) to make sure the terminology in the target language is always consistent, also for repeat assignments. - Eight years of freelance writing and editing experience: websites, sales letters, reports, interviews, columns, poetry etc.

- Information Specialist Libraries; six years

- Marketing course (NIMA-A) and five years of working experience in an international marketing/commercial environment
- Continuously following language courses (English/Finnish*) and translation developments etc.
- VWO: pre-university secondary education, the highest variant in the secondary educational system of the Netherlands
After spending the first 36 years of my life in the Netherlands I only live in Finland since 2008 so I have a complete understanding of the cultural backgrounds of my home country.
*The translations from Finnish into Dutch are done in cooperation with a Finnish partner.
