Introduction:               

Briefly, allow me to introduce myself. I am a freelancer,  a native Somali; I am an interpreter and translator.

I have worked for numerous agencies throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. I enjoyed working

with each of them.  At any moment you choose my services and would like a reference, I will gladly supply one to

you.  Please just ask.  Let me,  just for a moment tell you the subjects of the translation and interpretation I have

experience with.  I have fulfilled assignments in court, at Federal, State and County levels, Social Service,

business communications, education and Medical/hospital settings.  I have interpreted over the phone as well.  I

have been working in these areas since, February 2000.  I consider myself to be a Professional Linguist. I have

contracted with various agencies, I translated documents from English to Somali, and Somali to English. In

addition, I am equally fluent in af-Maay Maay (Mai Mai) (A dialect spoken by the newly arrived Somali Bantu).
