Antecedentes
I have dedicated the past 16 years of my life to English-Hindi and vice versa translation. I have been living in the Hindi belt ofIndiasince birth. I translate some 5-6 hundred thousand words every year and take up a large number of editing/proofreading assignments. I also back translate regularly scores of documents every year mainly related to clinical trials/research.
I have won four (04) translation contests and stood second in two (02) in English-Hindi language pair at another web place meant for professional translators. I have translated on a very wide variety of topics during my career as a translator. http://www.proz.com/profile/94744
My most active fields are: English to Hindi translation and back translation of clinical trials/research studies related documents like Study Protocols, Informed Consent Forms, Patient Information Sheets; Patient Diaries, etc.; general medical; contractual and other legal documents; mobile phones and games; equipment brochures; manuals; web sites; publicity materials; annual reports.; materials meant for immigrant communities mainly relating to schooling, getting established, programmes/supports available; survey questionnaires; etc.
I have SDL Trados 2007 Freelance and can translate with it. I can type very fast with ten fingers in Mangal Unicode as well as Kruti dev 010, ISM Multiscript and other Hindi fonts with similar key board. I can convert most non-Unicode fonts into Unicode Mangal font.
