Objective
I am seeking a challenging position as German <> English translator where I can use my experience in high-tech engineering program management and marketing.
EXPERIENCE
I am a native German and English speaker with Master Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University Breslau, Poland. My career in Semiconductor Industry started out in Germany in 1993. Since then, I have over 16 years experience in technical program management, marketing and high-tech advertising in Germany, Israel and since 1998 the United States. My work has involved me in international projects in Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Europe and the United States. I have been described as result-oriented professional, who is efficient and courteous with the ability to multi-task and work well under stress.
I have published more than 40 articles in technical conferences and magazines and have contributed to books regarding the topic of Semiconductors manufacturing. Between 1993 and 2003 I have presented at several international symposiums and trade shows.
I am bilingual in German and English and speak Russian, Polish, French and Hebrew.
WORK Experience
2000-Now Applied Materials US: Program management and technical marketing:
Since 2000 I have successfully introduced two new system platforms into the market. I had overall budget, resource and technical responsibility during the product life cycle of both products (market requirement definitions, R&D, product development, alpha and beta testing, market introduction and manufacturing transition).
1998-2000 Sigma-Cad, Inc.: VP of the US Branch Sigma C
My responsibility was to develop the US market for the German company Sigma-C.
1993 – 1998 Sigma-C GmbH: Technical marketing and program management for Germany-based Semiconductor Software Company
During my time at Sigma-C I was leading two different European-funded projects to develop wafer process simulations. In addition, I supervised technical marketing including presentation to customers (English and German) and technical documentations (English).
