JLE Services are a husband & wife team of professional translators specializing in the languages of Croatian, Serbian & Bosnian. We also translate other languages via an exclusive network of approved translators based across Europe & Asia.
An introduction from Lloyd Evans, Director of JLE Services:
“JLE Services are delighted to be associated with Translatorscafe.com as master members. We are a husband-and-wife team of professional translators working as a UK limited company from our home in Croatia. We specialize in languages of the Former Yugoslavia, namely Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian, although we also have capacity for a variety of other languages via our exclusive network of approved associates.
Our aim is simple – to always deliver quality translations that are completely accurate and well-presented at competitive prices within our client’s budget and timescale. We always endeavour to have all translations delivered significantly ahead of any agreed deadline wherever possible.
We have considerable experience in translation. In 2009/10 we worked with 36 different organizations in 17 countries around the globe. In the same period, we translated over 40,000 words (proofreading over 30,000 words) in a variety of different specializations including financial, medical, business, insurance, retail, tourism and legal documents. We are also heavily involved in website localization, having been selected to translate content into Croatian by Wcities, the popular tourist website. In 2010 we were approached by Goethe-Verlag to provide Croatian content for 50languages.com, a website designed to make learning new languages interesting and fun.
My name is Lloyd Evans, and I am the Director of JLE Services Ltd. Because I am a native UK-English speaker, I am heavily involved in carefully proofreading all translations into English and checking for correct spelling and grammar. My work has been noticed by various organizations, and I was delighted to be selected as exclusive proofreader for the leading Croatian translation agency, Increatus. I also act as Project Manager for all translations, and use my creative background and qualifications in Art & Design to ensure that the formatting on all translated documents (logos, images, tables etc) matches the originals as closely as possible.
My wife, Dijana Evans, is Head Translator, and is personally involved in all translations involving Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian. Having been born and raised in Croatia (only an hour’s drive from the Bosnian border!) her knowledge of both languages is exceptional. Over the course of three years spent living in the UK, her English has become beyond fluent, enabling her to translate quickly and accurately. Being Croatian, she also has an in-depth knowledge of Serbian (due to the many similarities between Croatian and Serbian), and a native-speaking associate based in Serbia proofreads her translations into this language.
Since we began our translating work, we have developed strong links with other professional translation associates around the world. We are therefore able to offer translations into other languages such as Welsh, Polish, Chinese and Tagalog in collaboration with a small network of approved associates based across Europe and Asia at our standard price per word (£0.05 GBP). All translations are checked to ensure they meet our extremely high standards.
We accept payment by a variety of means, including international bank transfer, cheques, PayPal and Moneybookers.
