Hello,

I started working as a professional translator in the end of 2006.

I have previously worked +20yrs as a tour guide with Europe as working field and translated into and from several language combinations for a living.

I consider my languge skills on a native level in three languages: Swedish (father), Norwegian (mother) and Spanish (husband since -93).

I speak and write English fluently, and master Catalan and German on a very good level.

I do however focus my translation service into Swedish.

My childhood I spent in Sweden and Norway, School in Sweden and after school, I started to work as a Tour and Travel-guide all over Europe, mainly Spain, Germany, Austria, Norway, England.

I moved to Spain in 1988 and stayed there until 2000, working within the travel- and Hotel- industry as well as in the nautical field (boat yard). Since 2000 do I live in Gothenburg Sweden with my Spanish husband and 2 boys.

I started my professional Translations Service company (Siri Translations) in 2007.

Since then have I done translation projects in several different areas; User manuals for companies such as SIEMENS, SONY, SAMSUNG, NIKON, LG, PHILIPS, ROWA, BAYER, OSPOL, C.R BARD, LG and HARLEY DAVIDSON.COM, GAGGENAU among others.

Translation of and with websites, such as HERBALIFE.COM, NOKIA.COM, TIMARCO.SE, TERMINAL A, UNIBET.COM

I have experience of user agreements (NINTENDO and more), keyword research projects for companies such as LG, NOKIA and GOLDEN MOMENTS, EUKANUBA PETFOOD.

I work with Windows XP, Office Pro 2003, Acrobat Adobe Professional 8.1.

As translation tool I use Trados 2009 Studio as well as TRADOS 2007 Suite both with MultiTerm and official licens, I have also worked with SDLX.

I have of course Internet broadband connection, and wireless mobile connection when travelling, External storage devices, cell phone, MSN and SKYPE.
