Background
I'm a full-time freelance translator and interpreter of Finnish origin. My main languages are German and Finnish, but I also translate from Swedish and English to Finnish.
I have an economic background (graduated from the Finnish Business College in Helsinki) and have worked for big Finnish and German industrial companies as well as for a pharmaceutical company and a big international research center.
I have a degree in Business and a certificate in Public Relations (Marketing Institute of Helsinki).
I'm a full member of SKTL (The Finnish Association of Translators and Interpreters) and use Trados Studio 2009 and Across 5.
In order to be able to offer you professional translations I travel to Finland several times a year to keep myself updated within the fields of expertise in both main languages German and Finnish.
During the last 10 years I've been teaching Finnish for adults in Aachen, Germany.
