Since 2000
Medical translator dealing with human and veterinary medicine, medical software localization and all related technical topics
From 1981 to 2000 I worked as a Vet in my pet practice, were I treated and performed surgery on cats and dogs. I also worked in a vet laboratory, LAV by Dr Ariotti, doing blood analyzes, spectrophotometry and immunoassays. I then spent 6 months at Pinerolo ASL, working on the immunization and blood sampling of cows, swine and sheep.
I spent a year as an observer at the San Lazzaro dermatologic hospital in Turin, and six months in the obstetric department of the Molinette hospital, where I worked on many laboratory, clinic and surgical cases. I then spent six months in the enterology department of the Molinette hospital in Turin, under Prof. Pozzetto, studying immunology and performing oncology trials and endoscopy. Finally, I attended a three-month in-house residential course on tropical medicine at OIT-ILO, Turin.
DVM, specialized in medical translation
