EXPERIENCE:
In the Spanish Translation Unit of the European Parliament, I have translated numerous kinds of documents, such as communications to members, petitions, letters, reports, etc. Excellent references available upon request. Currently I translate the verbatim reports of the proceedings of the EP on a regular basis (more than 500,000 words translated so far).
Freelance translator for a number of translation agencies in Europe and in the USA, as well as for several regular clients, for which I translate a wide range of documents (financial reports, accounts, business letters, commercial brochures, marketing material, contracts, etc.), as well as press releases related to general business subjects.
AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION:
Given my background in the civil service, I specialize in subjects related to Finance and Law, and I have acquired a privileged view of the workings of the Spanish Public Service.
