January 1997 – July 1998: London School of Modern Languages, Prague - secretary
July 1998 – August 2001: TB&J International Krystal, Inc., Chicago IL – translator for communication between the company CEO and Czech business partners. Company dealt with Czech crystal and porcelain throughout the Midwest of the USA.
March 2002 – present: Skanska CZ, a.s., Třinec – secretary and translator.
Presently on maternity leave.
Specialization:
Civil Engineering: Since my present employer is a construction company I specialize in construction-related materials, especially Technical Reports, Bill of Quantities and general building descriptions.
Medical translations: For a regular client I do translations of SPC (Summary Product Characteristics) and PIL (Package Leaflet) on various drugs.
General English documents.
