To access the full capabilities of TranslatorsCafé.com you must be a registered user. Registration is free. After registration, you will have free access to basic features of TranslatorsCafé.com. Master members will have full access to all features of the site.

• If you are a language professional, you can create and save your presentation page or résumé and cover letter, track your personal job searches and access all the information about agencies in our database. You can also add your agency to the database.
• If you are a translation agency representative, you can add your agency to TranslatorsCafé.com agency database, or edit information about your agency, or post a job that requires the services of a language professional.
• If you are not a translator or a representative of a translation agency, and you only want to post a job or to leave a feedback on an agency or service provider as a satisfied client or an outsourcer, you can do so after registering as a Job Poster or Client.

If you register on TranslatorsCafe.com, you will get the following benefits:

• A lot of additional information, for example, email addresses in job postings, rating of translation agencies and service providers will be displayed only to registered users.
• Your own customized profile to highlight your uniqueness as a service provider.
• Your own, easy to remember, Web site in the form http://YourUserName.TranslatorsCafe.com.
• Global exposure to potential clients.
• Inclusion into Linguist Search results.
• Ability to send your bids to outsourcers who posted jobs on the Job Board.
• Ability to post jobs on the Job Board, participate in discussions and ask questions in TCTerms.
• If you have been awarded a project, you will not pay any commissions to TranslatorsCafe.com — your clients will pay you directly.
• Recommendations on improving your profile.
• Customer service by e-mail.
• Automatic notifications about
  • jobs posted on the TC Job Board.
  • messages posted in TC Forums.
  • questions posted in TCTerms.
• You will become a part of one of the largest databases of language professionals and voice talents available on the Internet.
• PayPal, Moneybookers—Skrill and Western Union buttons to get your payments right from your profile.
• Provide your feedback on agencies and service providers whose services you used and get feedback from persons or agencies that used your services.

As part of our services, TranslatorsCafé.com provides the opportunity for you to post your presentation page or résumé, cover letter and other personal information such as results of your searches, your comments and ratings of the agencies you have worked with, or information about jobs that you post on the Job Board. This information will be safely stored on the server located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We do not sell or distribute that information to any third party. You may make your information private by selecting the Private check box if you only want to use TranslatorsCafé.com to send your résumé and cover letter to potential clients. In this case only you and the staff of TranslatorsCafé.com will have access to this information. If you choose to make your résumé public by clearing the Private check box, any third party can access it during their session with our server. However, your e-mail address will not be exposed to the Internet because a special online form is used to send you messages from your profile. If at any time you would like your résumé and other information removed from our database, you may do so using the Delete My Profile from the Database function in the My TranslatorsCafé.com section.

Please note, however, that when you are sending your résumé and cover letter to any third parties, your submissions will be subject to their privacy policies. In this case, your résumé and cover letter are outside the TranslatorsCafé.com site and TranslatorsCafé.com control. Although TranslatorsCafé.com uses every reasonable means to protect your personal information, we are not responsible for any improper use of your personal information once it is beyond the control of TranslatorsCafé.com. TranslatorsCafe.com is regularly visited by search engines, which cache the content of profiles on their own servers, including your name, images and any publicly visible text and contact information you have entered on your profile. We are not responsible for the removal of any content from search engines. Please note that we do not sell or give your personal information to anyone at any time.

Note also that if you have participated in agency rating, posted jobs on the Job Board or messages in forums, you will not be able to remove your name from the database because rating, forum, TCTerms Questions and Answers and job posting cannot be anonymous. In this case, after clicking the Delete My Profile from the Database button, your name and address will remain in the database but will not be displayed in the results of linguist searches.
