Question:I would like to know what people consider the main factor in choosing a foreign language to learn.

My native language is Turkish.

My family moved to Jordan when I was a child, for that reason I was forced to learn Arabic, otherwise how I'm supposed to continue my life, and when I say the word (forced) it means that truly I have no other chance.

Than I learned English, ( Education language) it was in School,high school and in the University, I studied in Cyprus. 

Than I learned German, my wifes language, and I spend huge amount of time,effort,money to learn basis of German language.

So as you see ladies and Gentlemen, life forced me to learn languages, no other reason.

My first foreigh language was English at school by my mother's decision. Now it is the main working language for me (carier & usefulness). Then was Latin in the Medical University (it was necessity! ). Spanish I chose by myself. I love this language and the way it sounds.

I am learning Welsh as this makes an excellent addition to my language combination.

Although most legal documents are written solely in English I had some wills and testaments over the last months from Wales and this was somehow weird at the beginning as even solicitors used Welsh terminology in the older documents. As Wales has now more legal powers on their own I await for my special subjects and increasing demand for Welsh.

My next step will be learning Irish!
