I guess it's a little like travelling in Denmark, where pastry (Wienerbrød) made with a special type of very rich and very flaky phyllo dough is served everywhere. Or eating fresh corn-on-the-cob and luscious tomatoes from New Jersey, where they don't come any better.

These people should not be in business. It's scandalous. It means they are charging 12 and giving 5 to the translators.

That's not so bad as another agency which posted a couple of advertisements today. When I applied last year they made me make a test translation online, I passed it and then they sent me their agreement to sign... 0.015 USD per word, plus discounts with Trados, for medical translations!!!!! When I said I could not work for those rates, they offered me 0.02 USD per word!!!!! I couldn't believe it!
