My name is Ian S. Gibson. I am resident in the United Kingdom.

I have over 40 years experience with the German language and am a fully qualified teacher of German, French and other languages.

I have translated letters and legal documents for friends informally over the years and have recently been able to translate a number of technical, legal and medical documents from German and French into English with a high level of competence.

I have long experience, too, in editing the (English) writing of other writers.

I have a BA(Hons) in German, a DipEd in MFL and a ZMP and I have been teaching and tutoring in languages and translating informally for approximately 18 years.
